All dancers are encouraged to participate in the community performances at all levels and ages. However, here are the guidelines for the Jovial Performing Group.
- All participants must participate in the summer class to be eligible to perform for the next year’s performances. Dancers cannot miss more than three classes/practices in the summer.
- All participants must enroll in the seasonal classes from September through May (Fall, Mid-Fall, Winter, and Spring). No more than three classes can be missed per season.
- All participants must participate in the December showcase and May recital, which gives them some exposure to rehearsal and performance practices.
Participants who do not meet the three requirements will not be eligible for the community performance for the year, but they can try again next year.
